Kids Micro:bit Mars Coder Workshop (5 Days Sept Holidays)

Description

Blast off to a great start by getting your child a ticket to their first Mars Mission Adventure!

Our young Astronauts and Engineers will be given a micro:bit each, and sent on a mission to Mars to solve challenges that crop up throughout the mission!

Your child will have fun learning to use the micro:bits to:

  • Send a wireless message with radio waves from the spaceship to mission control
  • Rig up an alarm system for a spaceship dashboard
  • Detect and record Mars’ temperature
  • Create a compass for navigating Mars
  • Build a remote controlled Mars Rover
  • Study and run tests on mystery ‘samples’ collected from Mars
  • Make an angle measuring tool to chart Mars landscape and create a plan for terraforming Mars based their findings
  • …and many more!

Kids will also learn interesting and relevant facts about the history of space exploration, the goals of Elon Musk’s Space X programs, and basic facts about the planet.
